flip skateboards

in 1987 flip skateboards were originally formed in  under the name deathbox skateboards. their first video 'spirit of the blitz' became extremely popular in the UK and later inspired the likes of geoff rowley and tom penny to join the team. almost half a century later in 1991 they released a promotional video called long overdue under the name of flip, although this did not become official until a few years down the line when they made the move from the UK to california. it didn’t take long for flip skateboards to gain huge popularity in the US with geoff rowley getting the cover of transworld magazine after just weeks of landing in california.
